TrashVPN (“the App,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect information when you use TrashVPN.
By using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 VPN Service Information
TrashVPN is a VPN/network proxy application. To provide VPN connections, server synchronization, route selection, and connection status features, the App may process:
- A client identifier generated by the App;
- A public key used for encrypted server communication;
- Server/node lists, server addresses, ports, and latency test results;
- VPN connection status, selected node, route mode, and local settings;
- Request time, app version, and basic network request information.
We do not intentionally read, record, or store your browsing content, messages, account passwords, payment information, or webpage content.
However, due to the technical nature of VPN services, your network traffic may pass through VPN or proxy servers. These servers may technically process necessary connection information, such as source IP address, destination address, connection time, and traffic volume. Such information is used only to provide, maintain, secure, and improve the service.
1.2 Device and App Information
To maintain app stability, troubleshoot errors, and provide updates, we may process:
- App version, package name, and operating system version;
- Crash logs, exception stack traces, thread names, and error messages;
- Startup failure or runtime error information;
- App update check information;
- Network status information.

The App may display advertisements, including Google AdMob ads and ads provided by our server.
Advertising features may process:
- Ad impressions and click events;
- Client identifier;
- Click time;
- Ad configuration, image URLs, and target URLs;

2. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Provide VPN connections, server synchronization, route selection, and proxy services;
- Generate and maintain a client identifier for server allocation, quota management, and security verification;
- Perform server latency and availability tests;
- Display ads and record ad interactions;
- Check for updates, download update files, and verify file integrity;
- Diagnose crashes, startup failures, and runtime errors;
- Prevent abuse, attacks, abnormal requests, or misuse of service resources;
- Improve app performance, stability, and user experience;
- Comply with legal, regulatory, and app store requirements.
3. Local Storage
The App may store certain data locally on your device, including:
- Client identifier;
- Encryption keys or public key information;
- Synced server/node information;

- Ad cache and update cache;
- Quota counters and sync timestamps;
- Temporary crash recovery logs.
This data is mainly stored in the App’s private storage, DataStore, SharedPreferences, or local database. Uninstalling the App usually removes local data, although system backup or device transfer features may retain some data depending on Android and device manufacturer settings.
